What the SERP checker shows
The checker lists the first 10 organic results Google shows for your keyword, with each page's position, title, and URL. If Google shows a featured snippet, it appears at the top of the list with its own label.
Positions count organic results only. A page can hold position 1 while a featured snippet, a People also ask box, or ads appear above it. The checker lists the other result types it finds on the page below the results.
Add your domain to highlight your pages in the list. The checker shows your best organic position in the top 10, or Not in the top 10 when none of your pages appear. Subdomains count as part of your domain.
Where the data comes from
Each new search runs a live Google query through the DataForSEO SERP API for the country and device you choose. The language follows the country.
- English: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and India.
- Other languages: Germany and Switzerland in German, France in French, Spain in Spanish, Italy in Italian, and the Netherlands in Dutch.
The search is not personalized. It uses no search history and targets a whole country, so results can differ from what you see when you search from your own browser or a specific city.
Checking rankings over time
A SERP check is a snapshot of one search at one moment. Rankings change from day to day and between locations and devices, so a single check can be higher or lower than your typical position.
